La bussola Iris 100 Tactical riunisce due strumenti in uno: una bussola di rotta classica, che si legge sulla parte orizzontale della rosa attraverso le alidade impresse sul fondo, e una bussola tattica, sulla parte verticale, che richiede di memorizzare una sola cifra per le tre andature di un percorso olimpico. Galleggiante e multiposizionale, con Ø apparente di 70 mm, si fissa e si stacca con una clip da una staffa, sia su piani verticali che orizzontali. La rosa tattica conica a doppia lettura (orizzontale e verticale) resta sempre in piano grazie al sistema cardanico, qualunque sia l’inclinazione del supporto. 6 alidade mobili. Peso 295 g.

The Iris 100 Tactical compass combines the functions of a main steering compass, read from the card’s horizontal surface via the lubber lines mounted in the lower part of the bowl, and a tactical compass, read directly from the card’s vertical section: the tactician only needs to memorise one figure for the 3 legs of an Olympic course. Multi-position installation, horizontal, vertical, flat or even upside down. It can be removed for storage and moved anywhere convenient on the boat: simply clip the shock-proof soft rubber casing to the bracket, with a smooth-edge base that won’t snag sails, lines or fingers. Conical card with vertical and horizontal reading. The gimballed magnetic cell keeps the card perfectly horizontal whatever the mounting angle. 6 mobile lubber lines. Weight 295 g.
