It supports the boom in all situations by preventing accidents in the event of incorrect adjustment of the mistletoe, very light, with little exposure to wind and high reactivity without shocks or adjustments. It fits on all types of mast or boom, whatever their section. The kit is supplied complete for installation as a complement to the existing boom hoist and consists of:- No. 2 flexible fibreglass rods with sufficient strength to support the boom and mainsail- Anodised aluminium hooks for attachment to the mast and boom- Stainless steel fasteners.The bracket has no moving parts and requires no maintenance. The careful finishing preserves the sails from friction damage. Very supple, the support arches under mainsheet or luff tension to tension the mainsail to the maximum, or the reverse. With no mainsail tension, it holds the boom above the horizontal and allows the sail to be let down to luff, with aft wind, if necessary.
