Sostiene il boma in tutte le situazioni prevenendo gli incidenti in caso di cattiva regolazione dellamantiglio, molto leggero, con poca esposizione al vento ed elevata reattività senza scosse ne regolazioni. Si adatta su tutti i tipi di albero o di boma, qualunque sia la loro sezione. Il kit è fornito completo per listallazione come complemento dellalabasso del boma esistente ed è composto da: Nr. 2 tondini in fibra di vetro flessibile che presentano una resistenza sufficiente per sostenere il boma e la randa Agganci in alluminio anodizzato per il fissaggio sullalbero e sul boma Accessori di fissaggio in acciaio inox.Il Sostegno non presenta nessun pezzo mobile e non necessita di alcuna manutenzione. Laccurata rifinitura preserva le vele dai danni dello sfregamento. Molto flessuoso, il sostegno si inarca sotto la tensione della scotta o dellalabasso per tesare la randa al massimo o, al contrario. Senza tensione dellantimaglio, regge il boma sopra lorizzontale e permette di lascare per incurvare la vela, con vento di poppa, in caso di necessità.
